Coppertone Clearly Sheer Review

Coppertone Clearly Sheer Sunny DaysI'm a big proponent of using sunscreen, but I'll admit that I forget to put some on sometimes. I normally use Hawaiian Tropic but then this opportunity from Bzzagent appeared and I said, "Why not?" That's usually how things go. I often think, "What have I got to lose?" Anyway, I decided to accept the invitation for this bzzkit, and I'm really glad that I did. I had noticed that the product that I was using before was leaving my face even more oily than what it naturally is and I was having really bad breakouts and I couldn't figure out why. I was doing my normal face routine, I regularly change out my pillowcases but it never occurred to me that it could be my sunscreen.

Coppertone has two formulas for this specific sunscreen. One for sunny days which is basically every day use here in Southern California and one for beach and pool. I received the sunny days sample, which I don't even think I should say sample beings that Bzzagent sent out a full size bottle. I didn't know what to expect from it but when I first opened the bottle to smell it, I was quite surprised. The sunscreens I'm used to usually have that beachy smell but it was the opposite when it came to this. It smells light and airy which makes sense afterwards beings that it's for everyday use, and usually one doesn't go to work smelling like the beach.

After making the switch my face cleared up almost immediately but it also left my face feeling super soft as well. Since getting it in the mail, I'm already more than halfway out of it. I've been thinking about whether or not I'd buy it again but everyday I'm leaning more towards a repurchase and not going back to the Hawaiian Tropic one for everyday use. So obviously, I REALLY like it!

Actually, I still have two samples left so if you'd like me to send them to you so you can try it yourself, leave a comment and I'll send them out to you!

First Bites of Green Giant Veggie Snacks

I know in this video I said that I didn't like the sweet potato sea salt chips, but a couple of days after shooting this, I found myself craving them. Suffice to say, I ended up liking them tremendously in the end, and not liking the zesty cheddar at all, afterward. Oh, tastebuds! Now it seems like I just can't get enough.

I got these snack chips for free courtesy of Bzzagent. My opinion in the video is solely my own based on my experience with the product.

BzzAgent: Glade Expressions Oil Diffuser Review

Bzzagent Glade oil diffuser

Awhile back ago, I got invited to another BzzAgent Campaign. This time it was for Glade. I had seen the oil diffusers on the shelves in stores like Wal-Mart and Target but didn't really think about purchasing one because at the time, I was buying oil cartridges from Bath and Body Works, but as with anything that I try for the first time, I said, "It can't hurt".

Originally I wasn't impressed with the white or bamboo holders. I'm more of a metallic girl so I got the bamboo one in Pineapple and Mangosteen and stuck it on the mantle. Immediately, the aroma filled my apartment. It was a warm scent but not too perfume-y. When my sister came home from work she asked what the smell was because she could smell it all the way downstairs, and that it smelled good. So I showed her and gave her a coupon so that she could purchase her own starter kit for her room. She got the Pineapple Mangosteen kit as well because she didn't want the scents to differ and create some weird aroma in the house by mixing them.

I honestly love the smell of this. I can smell it coming upstairs when I get home from school at night and makes the whole apartment smell fresh and light. I want to try the Lavender and Juniper Berry scent for Spring, and then switch back to Pineapple Mangosteen for Summer because it honestly, Summer is all about citrus-y scents. I have a feeling the apple and cardamom are going to be too heavy for my liking.

We both loved it so much, we decided to get another one for the bathroom, so the WHOLE apartment smells pretty much, awesome.

I wasn't able to get the spray because it seems where ever I go to try and find it, the starter kit isn't available. I really want to try the spray, and I guess I'm just going to have to keep going to different Wal-Mart's, Target's, CVS's or Wal-Greens' to try and find one.

What I also like about them, despite the fact that they don't have a metallic option, is that they pretty much go with any decor. My mantle is pretty much, white, glass, and photos, but somehow the bamboo holder still manages to tie into the decor! So whatever your decor, I'm sure it'll fit right in as well.

So let me just end this by telling you that I AM a BzzAgent and I received this product from BzzAgent on behalf of Glade for testing and review purposes. Even though I received this product for free, the above opinion is 100% mine based solely on the experience I had with the product.

Bzzagent: Schick Hydro Silk Razor Review

For Valentine's Day, why not have smooth legs instead? As a member of the SLC (Single Ladies Club) I'm not thinking about Thursday as "Valentine's Day", but rather simply "Thursday". But if you're NOT a member of the SLC and DO have a boo to impress, why not impress with this?

I got my Bzzkit in the mail and promptly tried it out.  Let me take this time to say that as a BzzAgent, I receive units for review for free or at a discounted price and that my opinion is 100% mine based on my experience.

I had previous experience with Schick using their Xtreme3 sensitive disposable mens razors, and while I originally had liked using it, for the last couple of months. I would avoid shaving because the process would irritate my skin and leave razor burn, which isn't good in the slightest, especially when using it in your bikini area. So when I got invited to this campaign, I decided, 'It couldn't hurt to try a new razor' so I got in on the action. As I tried it I realized it didn't even feel like I was shaving. The water-activated moisturizing serum left my legs super soft and I didn't even use shaving cream. I just wet the blade cartridge with a little water and started shaving. No irritation afterward. Just silky smooth gams.

The handle was ergonomic and intuitively fit in my hand and has rubber grip points so you don't accidently slip and knick yourself. The starter kit came with an extra blade cartridge and suction holder to keep in the shower.

The only thing that concerns me is the price for the refill cartridges. Hydro Silk razors can be bought at grocery stores and mass retailers for an average price of $9.49 and the 4-pack refill cartridge retails around $15.11. That's a little steep for a pack of 4. I have yet to confirm those prices at my local drugstore where I usually buy my shaving products, but I'll be sure to check back in with those prices.

But despite the price for the retail cartridge, I'll probably just suck it up and pay, and continue to use this razor.

TIP: One thing I learned in maintaining a razor is that water is the main component in making them go dull. After each shave I dry the blades in order to preserve them. This makes them last a little bit longer, getting an extra shave or two out of them.

Meatless Monday Brought to You by Bzzagent- Spicy Hawaiian Sliders

I got invited to the Bzzagent MorningStar Farms campaign recently and I got to choose a complimentary MorningStar Farms product to test. Beings that I like spicy food, I chose to try to Spicy Black Bean patties. I originally didn't want to do "hamburgers" but then decided to spin it slightly. I thought I'd do sliders instead.
Using King's Hawaiian Sweet Rolls, a slice of Pineapple, Romaine lettuce, Chipotle ranch dressing and Jalapeños, I created Spicy Hawaiian Sliders. Grill the slice of pineapple. Then quarter the patty and pineapple. Use the Chipotle Ranch dressing as the condiment. Add a piece of lettuce and a few jalapeños and you're set.  1 patty makes 4 sliders.
I had tasted MorningStar patties before and didn't have quite a positive experience the first time, but I was willing to try it again and I'm glad I did. I was intrigued with the thought of Spicy Black Bean patties. I really loved the taste of the patties. As soon as I opened the package, I could tell they were going to be spicy. The texture of them didn't even remind me that it was actually meatless. I could definitely see myself eating more of these if I decided to continue doing Meatless Monday.

For this, I have four coupons to give away with a savings of $1.00 off any ONE MorningStar Farms product. You know, if you want one. :)
Disclaimer: I'm a Bzzagent and I received this product complimentary from Bzzagent for review purposes and the above is my 100% honest opinion.
